In Italy and especially in the whole of Europe, the lack of doing exercise - especially in a natural environment – has resulted in the increase of obesity in children and youth (major health problem in developed countries) and in the increased level of inactivity and the incorrect use of old and new technology. But the sport itself is not enough. The progressive detachment from nature experienced by children growing up in cities can cause nature-deficit disorder. In his "Last Child in the Wood" book, the researcher Richard Louv finds that children prefer watching TV rather than parks and outdoor games. They are even afraid of playing outdoors, so they get sick of various diseases, including allergies, obesity, behavioral disorders, attention deficit, hyperactivity, depression and some manifestations of autism. So, what can we do?

[2022-07-01] The project is complete as the eligibility period ended yesterday. Despite the travel difficulties due to the pandemic and the rescheduling, we managed to organize all the planned meetings, which were the main activities of the project. The joint work of all partners has been a success!
[2022-06-27] The last international meeting has been successfully held in Milan (Italy) from June 25th to June 26th, 2022. Thanks to FISO Lombardia the organization!
[2022-05-15] The 3rd international meeting in Milan has been rescheduled to June 25-26, 2022.
[2022-04-11] The second international meeting of the project has been successfully held in Köszeg (Hungary) from April 8th to April 10th, 2022. Thanks to Zoltan and Vas orienteering federation for the organization!
[2021-11-16] The first international meeting of the project has been successfully held in Larnaka (Cyprus) from November 13th to November 15th, 2021. Thanks to Michael and CMCOF for the organization!
[2021-09-12] The activities of the project resume! The international meetings have been rescheduled to: Nov. 13-15, 2021 in Cyprus; Apr. 8-10, 2022 in Hungary; and May 28-29, 2022 in Italy.
[2021-07-27] Due to the difficulties for COVID-19 pandemic, the project has been extended to 30/06/2022.
[2020-10-01] The program has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic: the meeting in Cyprus is postponed to 2021.
[2020-06-20] The program has changed due to the COVID-19 emergency: the meeting in Szombathely (Hungary) is postponed to spring 2021.
